2 Dear breeders, dear friends of the Boeckmann family, We are excitedly awaiting season 2018. Looking back at 2017, the homebred stallion Checkter has been one of our greatest delights. The score of 9,66 in his sports test is “success made by Boeckmann” that not only made us proud but reflects itself in your huge interest in him. It has also been a remarkable year for Fidertanz: a whole group of his offsprings has consistently triumphed up to Grand Prix-tests. They show, without exception, their positive work ethic and rideability. The success streak rose to find its height in Frankfurt in December. Four descendants of Fidertanz participated in two of the most prestigious youngster finals in Germany: The “Nürnburger Burgpokal” and the “Louisdor-Preis”. We are delighted to tell you that QC Flamboyant OLD (by Fidertanz – De Niro) and Isabell Werth were even able to win the Burgpokal. Frankfurt has just as much been a great show for Dimaggio, whose offsprings delivered brilliant performances: Discovery OLD and Heiner Schiergen placed themselves second in the Grand Prix freestyle. Royal Discovery, his full sister’s son, will continue the legacy of the beloved Dimaggio at our stables. Looking into a bright future, Benefit, champion stallion and most expensive stallion at last year’s approval in Vechta, will join our stables. So will Golden Eye, the first approved son of Governor. The prime stallion descends from a highly interesting family and wins us over with his talent. Fine Romance is another young stallion of outstanding capacity and quality we welcome to our family. Three promising young jumping stallions from Holstein will start to represent Boeckmann this year: Can Tici, Cascador Air and Cantosano. With them, the slightly older Cape Town will join the team. The Cornet Obolensky-son has already won a series of age appropriate classes last year. The highly popular stallions Bentley and Ogano Sitte will now be accompanied by Nartago, an internationally successful son of Carthago, whose offsprings prove their talent in FEI horse shows.
