He was the winner of his stallion performance test and had a very successful competition career. Füchtels Floriscount is the spitting image of his legendary dam sire Donnerhall. In 2014 he was placed second in the Nürnberger Burg-Pokal and won the final freestyle class with Oliver Oelrich. He was alsoVTVDressage Stallion of theYear. With the breeder’s daughter, Patricia von Merveldt, he won and was placed in classes up to In- termédiaire II and Grand Prix level. Over 20 of his male offspring are now licensed in Germany, and 710 of his female offspring are state premium mares. Numerous horses sired by Füchtels Floriscount OLD are advanced level dressage horses, and he has maintained his high ranking in the FN breeding index for years. Each new crop of foals is excellent and are often the most expensive lots at auctions, including the foal that won the German Foal Championship in Lienen. His licensed offspring are now very much in demand as sires, including Floris Prince (dam sire Prince Thatch xx), Fin- nigan (dam sire Don Schufro), First Deal (dam sire De Niro) and Ferguson (dam sire Lauries Crusador xx). Tophojs Falcetto was Danish Premium Stallion in 2019. In 2020 Fineline by Floriscount x San Amour was the premium stallion at theWestphalia stallion licensing test in Münster. At the Oldenburg Elite Mare Show in 2020 Floriscount was represented by his daughter High Hopes (dam sire Damon Hill), and his son Floyd 78 (dam sireWhite Star) was vice-champion at the GermanAmateur Rider Champi- onships.
